SMART objectives: Specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-related

This is a problem-based learning (PBL) resource. Its aim is to provide you with realistic scenarios and problems from the business world. As you work through the material you will draw on your own knowledge and experience while developing information gathering, critical thinking and problem solving skills that will benefit you in the workplace.

This PBL will encourage you to research SMART objectives, how to set and review them to ensure they align with development activities identified in their own personal development plan (PDP) and in keeping with their own organisational objectives.
