Concrete paths down the centre of each tunnel allow for Danish trolleys to be pulled all the way through tunnels for plants to be moved with ease.

Spaces in the crop every three rows allows staff to have access to the crop for weeding, pruning and picking out plants for sale. The spaces are arranged carefully so that every plant in every tunnel can be reached.

The polythene covering the tunnel is specially developed to reduce condensation on the inside and to filter the correct wavelengths of light.

Each ‘bay’ (the gap between tunnel frame poles) is coded so that plants can be found with ease for stock-taking and picking out for sale.

Tunnel frames are aerodynamic to reduce wind pressure while maximising inside space.
